    A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

    Before you connect.

Can I use more than one Gmail account?

Yes. Connect Gmail and Google Workspace mailboxes, then search all of them or set one as your default. Each email reference preserves its source account.

Do I need to set up an API or developer account?

No. The publisher operates the Google sign-in app. You sign in and consent. A Workspace administrator may still need to allow the app for your organization.

Can I use it on my phone?

The touch-friendly picker is designed for clients that support interactive plugins; actual phone acceptance is still being tested. Ask “Open Mail Picker.” If the interactive view is unavailable, ask for a Mail Picker browser link, select up to five emails, choose an action, review, and copy the complete request into your connected chat. Native composer search is a desktop feature; availability varies by client.

Does Mail Picker keep me signed in?

It renews access while your connection remains valid. Revocation, Google security policies, and inactivity can require you to reconnect. During Google’s Testing phase, renewable access is limited.

Can I connect Outlook, iCloud, or Yahoo?

This release supports Gmail and Google Workspace. Other providers are planned for later; they are not available in this release.

Where does my selected email go?

The requested message is sent to your authorized ChatGPT or Codex client. That client can keep it in your conversation under its own policies. Mail Picker does not store a cache of email bodies. Learn about data handling.
